Hi There, I start my slideshow with

xbmc.executebuiltin('ActivateWindow(Pictures, "{0}")'.format(media_path))
xbmc.executebuiltin("Action(Play)")

Then, xbmc reads a directory and show the media.
It's possible to show another image (like a water mark) in the image that slideshow presents.
