hey guys total noob how does the git hub thing work can someone post a youtube of to use them for add ons as im totally lost many thanks for some help guys downloaded tortoiseGit and im still lost im using a windows xp system and the addons for xbmc for apple tv 2.
i hope that is enough info for you guys to help also hope this is in the correct section

If you just want to download an addon from github you don't need tortoise or any other program. On the right side near the bottom is a button called 'Download Zip'. It will download all the files in a compressed format(.zip).

thanks dude ill try that see i am a real noob lol tried that tortoiseGit and it gave me a not shut down correctly error
