For a long time I have hated the way xbmc handles a miss matched tv show. I use Sick beard which names all my shows generally in a way xbmc understands as it uses the same data. However sometimes something goes wrong and XBMC gets a miss match when I add a new show. However instead of giving me a prompt to say a new show doesn't match it will give me several completely random shows and not give me any indication which one is causing the problem. I then have to remove shows to find the one that is at fault.
Here is another issue in order to remove the offending shows I need to force a complete removal and rescan of all data which takes some time.
This is one area Mythtv has it right you could generally select a show / movie that myth wasn't sure of and be given a selection of matches.
Just a small pet peeve that has been driving me up the wall for about a year now.
