Hi i'm using an entry level 21.5 inch 2011 iMac 2.5 GHz and AMD 6750 and it seems that just about all of my MakeMKV rips are now crashing XBMC.
Other HD mkv files do not though maybe it is the multichannel FLAC in these ones that is the difference.
Here is a log file.

Are you using the 32-bit or 64-bit version of XBMC for Mac OS X? I know there was an issue with one or the other and another audio codec, so maybe the same thing happened with FLAC (just a guess).

You can make easy links to the XBMC wiki using double brackets around common XBMC words: [[debug log]] = debug log, [[Video library]] = Video library, [[SMB]] = SMB , [[userdata]] = userdata, etc

Code:
ERROR: VDA::CDecoder - Failed to init VDA decoder: -12473

Seems like the hardware decoder doesn't like your encoder settings. Please post the resulting crashreport to pastebin.com and put the link in here.

Here it is on pastebin. http://pastebin.com/teE3UGnr

Edit: Corrected the Pastebin post so that I had the full log posted instead of part of it.
