If it's the HP, then you're out of luck, as OpenELEC doesn't run on most ARM-based hardware (outside of the RPI and one or two others). If it's the Dell, then you would install it the same as noggin did on his C720

Will it work with the samsung exynos? SAMSUNG XE303C12-A01US Chromebook Huh

OpenELEC will not run on any ARM-based ChromeBooks -- x86 only!

There is a guy on the hardkernel forums that has OpenElec running on the Samsung Exynos 4412 ARM Cortex-A9 Quad Core 1.7GHz (ODROID U3)

I wonder if it can be adapted for the ARM based Chromebooks

At first I wasn't very convinced with the Chromebook C720 from Acer, mainly because I couldn't imagine it running fluently just with apps and now with the standard programs of our known operating systems like WIndows, Linux, Mac...

However at the end I still decided to buy it and to my surprise I was very pleased with it. The keyboard does make some weird sounds when you use it for writing a lot of text, but this alone isn't enough to suppress all it's good points (mainly the great price)
