I like to have my movies alphabetized and I personally include the word "The" in titles as I remember the full name of each and every movie, not just part. As it is, XBMC ignores the word "The" and sorts titles by the remainder of the name. I realize I can manually edit the sort title for movies but if XBMC just ignores the word "The", I don't see a solution for this.

Is this a known issue or am I just the only person that cares about this?

Excellent! Thank you very much for your help. I guess I never expected to find a setting for this under the skins heading so I never bothered expanding that section.

No problem. The dev's of XBMC have pretty much thought of everything, so its just a matter of knowing where to look.
