Hi All,
I have been running Mediaportal for many years now on a thrown together system and it is starting to die.
One of the main reasons I went with mediaportal was because of the lastfm scrobble playlist generator for music.
I have just been playing with some $40 A20 chip android boxes and have successfully got them to play 1080HD DTS flawlessly after much trial and error. They are to power up a LED projector we take camping and run on 12v battery power.
I have been able to get the Last.fm scrobble playlist script to work in XBMC so am going to jump ship to XBMC.
I am seriously thinking of dumping Windows as an OS and also dumping X86 cpus as well and go android/ARM.
I would need a box that can do passthru to spif and hopefully handle a usb tv tuner (not critical).
Could you guys suggest the "best" box currently available that would be able to compete with a X86 platform.
