Hi, I'm a newbie, both to xbmc and the forum and I hope I've posted on correct forum. I know there is a PVR forum, but not sure that this fits. I know nothing about PVRs and when I installed something it said it needed a PVR,can't remember what is was (memory like a goldfish), so knowing nothing thought any PVR would do. Wrong, but now I'm left with 2 error messages continually flashing across the home and return icons on the RHS bottom of screen. What I want to know, is how do I get rid of these messages, please.

One is mythtv enyth PVR Clients saying there is no connection.

The other is Media Portal PVC Client connection fail.

Welcome to the forums

Go to System->Live TV->General. Here you can disable the PVR feature (Enabled is selected (blue) in your case, make it grey).

Hi, Thanks so much, so simple, yet I couldn't think how to get rid of them. Hopefully I'll get better with time.
