Hi all, sorry if this is in the wrong place...
I currently use a RPi to run MYSQL pointing to a Mac holding the shared siles over smb to centralise my database - which works great now I have just got hold of a ls-qvl buffalo 12TB NAS drive, which has MySQL support.
My question is do you think I will get the same performance if I store the data on the NAS, AND let it run the SQL DB?
Library updates are handled at the Mac end..
