Yeah I didn't think that should have made a difference, and it's not taking longer than 10 seconds to actually tune either. Here's my log sir.

I take that back after tinkering with it this morning, it is taking longer than 10 seconds to tune but only on the clear qam channels.

It really does seem like the data is crawling out of your tuner really slowly when you tune to a clear qam channel. I would like to look at one of the files from one these channels, before you increased the timeout. They should be stored in the TempSWMC/savedfordebug in your recorded tv folder. If you can, upload one of them to:

I can't say for sure, but it also looks like all of your clearqam channels are really just audio channels, in other words, there is a video stream but my guess is there is nothing to look at, you really just want the audio feed. Consider using scarecrow's feature of mapping these to radio channels instead. Possible not having serverwmc bothering to look for the video stream will improve its performance.

Uploading some clips now, I'm uploading several just to make sure. I'm not sure which ones were made before I started tinkering with the timeout. You're correct that most of my clear qam channels are music, I'd love to remap them to radio. I looked through the options but didn't see that, what am I missing?

It's called ForcedRadioChannels in the config file (debug tab)

I got the forced radio channels working and that seems to have everything running pretty smoothly. I'm a happy camper! I tried most of the major setups argus, nextpvr, mediaportal and yours was by far the easiest to get up and going. Using the windows media center EPG is so much easier than getting an EPG setup for any of the other options. Thanks for sharing something this awesome and thanks again for the help in getting it going!
