It looks like it couldn't find an audio stream, either it took too long for the audio info to come out so it needs to wait longer (doubtful because it found your video stream fine) or there is something else wrong.
In your recorded tv folder, look for a fold serverwmc creates called TempSWMC. In there you should see a folder called 'savedfordebug'. Look in there and you should find this file:
F:\Recorded TV\TempSWMC\LiveTV_Hometheater_Cable_2_2014_06_23_13_59_50.wtv
See if when you play it (using wmc or wmp) if you get audio.

Thanks much for the response and the help.
I can play each of the clips stored in the SavedforDebug folder, the video looks good, but there is no audio. I have set up a few scheduled recordings in WMC, there is audio on those .wtv files but it is slightly out of sync with the video.

Sure, I'm at work right now but as soon as I get to the house I'll record something and toss it in for you. Already put the debug clip in there.

I looked at the files you uploaded and neither of them have audio. Are you sure your tv card is working?

this slightly rings a bell for me... I think we had in the past, a user who had some type of tuner card in their PC where the audio was actually handled separately via a 3.5mm audio cable from the tv tuner card into their sound card or something like this. Somehow WMC knew what to do when live viewing but recordings didn't work (or at least recordings initiated by us in ServerWMC didn't). Perhaps it's something similar here?

Now that you mention it scarecrow that's exactly what my tv card does! I should have mentioned that sooner /doh. Was there a fix or a workaround previously?

Taking ServerWMC and XBMC out of the mix, when you use normal Windows Media Center (WMC) im assuming live viewing has audio? What about when you make recordings in WMC, do they have audio when you watch them back later? Is the WTV file you uploaded for krusty, a recording made in normal WMC (because it doesn't have audio!)? If it has audio when WMC plays it back but not when we do, then Im thinking WMC must somehow record the audio and store it somewhere else (are there other files in your recorded TV folder apart from WTV files?) or perhaps it records the audio and stores it inside the WTV file but not as a normal audio stream. Strange. We can analyse the WTV file and see if anything odd is in there. I am getting ahead of myself though, we first need you to confirm that you do indeed get audio in WMC whether you are watching live or watching a previously made recording.
The easiest solution would probably be for you to get a new tuner though! What's the deal with this card, is it quite old, or somewhat specialised? Eg can it record video/audio input from external sources? Perhaps you could outline your setup, what plugs into what etc. Im wondering if you may have an existing cable box that runs into this video capture card and an IR blaster/zapper that does the channel changing? Or it really is a "tuner card" with everything built into the card? It's just odd that the audio would be a separate/analog connection... which is why I wondered if its more of a "capture card" than a tuner?

Hmm, when I play back the file I uploaded I also have no audio. Pretty sure I made one yesterday that had audio. It was made in normal WMC, when I tune channels in WMC I do have audio
Now here's something interesting, when I first crank up WMC, I have no video, just audio. Then I access the EPG, change channels and I have video and audio and can tune normally to any other channel.
So I just opened XBMC again, I get audio but no video for about 10 seconds and then the same error message about no video data. Weirdness.
This tuner card is old, and I do have a new one coming. I don't want to waste too much of ya'lls time on this though I do appreciate the help! I'll happily guinea pig anything else you want to try.

I won't tie you guys up any further with it, thank you very much for the responses. I'll wait on the new tuner and I'll yell if I have any trouble with it. Thanks for all your hard work and thanks for sharing it with the rest of us.

So a little bit of an update here, I got the new tuner installed and hooked up. It's got an analog tuner and a clear qam tuner. I can view channels from each tuner in WMC with audio and video playing properly. I can record from each tuner with audio and video playing properly. However in XBMC I can only tune to the channels from the analog tuner, none of the channels from the clear qam tuner will play. What can I do to try to diagnose? Throw up a pastebin and a sample file from the debug folder?
Actually I just managed to get it working, I changed the timeout in the settings file to 20 seconds and checked "Remux the playback of all .wtv file". I can now play channels from the other tuner! Still would love to hear any ideas though.

you shouldn't need to enable the "remux all WTV files" option, that really just means that completed recordings will be remixed as well as live viewing
in terms of your new tuner being apparently slower than the default 10 seconds to get a channel going, let's get a ServerWMC log on pastebin as the first step
