Hey folks, I've got a really weird problem and so far I haven't been able to find a solution anywhere.

I'm running xbmc 13.1 over raspbmc and every time I play music or video via nfs or smb (windows 7), after a few minutes it freezes. Sometimes it would go back to playing, but it's rare.

I thought it might be the router so I switched it (was netgear d2200v2 now d2200) - nada.
I tried open elec instead - no luck here.
Reinstalled the nfs service, redefined smb directories..

I should mension that it all started when I switched from a Seimens router to netgear.. But it could also be something else.

No errors coming from the log, cpu temperature is around 68c but it streams over the Internet well without any drops.

I never had any problems streaming via dlna with my Samsung tv.

Really pulling my hairs here.

Can you switch back to Seimens router and test to see if the router change was significant or coincidental?

Unfortunately no, I no longer have the Seimens (isp rented)
