Hey janbar - If I'm building for Kodi Helix Alpha 3, what branch should I be pulling? I saw you mention a few days back that you were splitting off Gotham and Helix, but wasn't quite sure what branch - I assume Master, but when I used that, I got an issue with all my channel and EPG data going missing whereas an older build was working just fine.
The Ubuntu PPA is going to continue to remain on Gotham for now?

ppa is for gotham.
For helix you have to use my master branch. Also helix-alpha3 is too old now, so get the last nightly build. That should resolve your issue.

OK i have another issue. I have this happen occasionally, but more often than not. I have this recording that started at 6pm (1hr, 20 min ago), but when i start it, it says the recording is only 40 minutes. So i skip through it to get to the first quarter, but i cant seem to find it. There is a certain spot where it jumps welllll like 30+ minutes into the second quarter. It happens at least 1 recording a week
The game should have started at around the 30 min mark of the recording. But when i get to about 20 minutes of skipping, i end up well into the second quarter, which would be prob 20min+ into the game. I cant seem to figure out why. If i played it right through with no skip it would prob play normal. This happens on the cmyth plugin as well, i just never brought it up

Looks like LiveTV is now broken 
i can see it changing the channel then it times out saying "Channel Unavailable". My setup is an HDPVR box with an ir blaster to a Satellite Reciver. So when i start the channel, i can see the satellite changing the channel, but xbmc times out before it has even started recording, saying "Channel Unavailable". Mythtv doesnt even finish changing the channel before xbmc saying channel not avaialble

Actually....never mind! Its the Tuning Delay in the addon that was set to low. moved from 5-15 seconds and now it works. Must be a new option!

Yes, this option is new in the "new" addon to handle the case you explained above.
With addon cmyth the delay was static (30 sec) and when you have 4 virtual tuners , you have to wait 2 minutes (4x30sec) when channel is unavailable. Now the user setup itself the tuning delay according to his hardware.
Using DVB-T or ATSC or cable the delay can be very short (5 sec) because the signal tuning is fast.
Using satelite reveiver the tuning can be long more if you have a rotatable plate (and more if you have to rotate it yourself).

Tu run with Helix , you have to compile the addon yourself from the master branch. Also the PVR api version has changed last week (1.9.1 to 1.9.2) and the master branch use API version 1.9.2 (the last).
Since last week also, now the addon is available in the nightly build. For all platforms: android , ios ... But the release is the first delivered: 1.9.20

Currently i changed the file "/tools/mkpkg/mkpkg_xbmc-pvr-addons" line 24, to use my repos instead Lars's.
