pvr.mythtv add-on
I tried those a couple of those and none worked. I am rebuilding my Myth backend and will retry. I have 4 different XBMC set ups (Windows 7, Openelec on Rs Pi, Android phone and Fire TV. All worked before upgrading from 0.25 to 0.27.4 I have to believe it is incompatibility with Mythtv but I am trying a rebuild. Any other advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!

did you uninstall the cmyth pvr addon. and install and setup the pvr.mythtv addon? also in the mythsetup you have to set the access code to 0000. because the pvr.mythaddon does not use the mysql database like the old addon. its strickly uses the mythtv access api.

the 0000 is to be placed in the general setup security PIN in mythbackend setup.

Morning

Looks like this addon doesnt reconnect after a suspend. The old one used to have this issue pre gotham. I just setup my wake on usb/wake from suspend and the first thing i tested was this addon as the old one used to have an issue. This one seems to suffer the same fate.

Tested as so:
suspended it over night
woke up the htpc
my mythtv started a recording while the htpc was suspended and is currently recording, and I cannot find it in the recordings list
restart solves the issue

Cheers!

Ok... I tried the cmyth addon... the pvr.mythtv addon and delete cmyth, add 0000 to access code? (not sure where that would go) I will look again.
Thanks!

Ok, I did this without success.
-Installed Kodi 20141018-b5947af apk
-Deleted Cmyth pvr addon
-Enabled Live Tv
-Added Mythtv backend IP address
On mythtv backend setup> General > first screen I have pin 0000
Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for any input!
Todd

Debug log time I think.

There was no need to delete the cmyth plugin, but it shouldn't have harmed anything.

Did you enable pvr.mythtv as well as LiveTv in settings?

Re: missing channels in EPG. Please see image below. As you can see, the subchannel numbers are now displayed, but the EPG is still missing channels.

While the channel list (on the left) shows all of the channels, including channels 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3, the EPG (on the right) omits 2.2 and 2.3. This is with pvr.mythtv 1.9.23.

I will try it here. Probably the issue is in epg screen from kodi. I let you know if i can fix it soon.

@allan87 , i fixed the bug in xbmc. The ref of PR is https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/5564 . Once merged by xbmc team you will see all of your channels in EPG grid.

EDIT: xbmc -> kodi
I confirm that the channel list and EPG are perfect now (tested on openelec build for RPi and on OS X). Thanks very much to janbar, and also xhaggi, for fixing this problem.

I can't see why it is failing, perhaps @janbar could take a look. One question: do you have the PIN set as 0000 in mythbackend setup?
