Every time I install I get this error:

How are you installing xbmc also do you have a version already installed?

OMG, I'M SO SORRY, this whole time I was connected to my FireTV. I was wondering what in the world was up with those amazon mentions in the log!

So, I'm trying to connect correctly to the ADT-1 and still having issues though, :/ I'm gonna try to usb debug cable next.

One problem I have is that the ADT-1 is updated to the lastest version of Lollipop, and there's no more Developer Options present in the settings. So I can't follow these instructions:

I'm thinking maybe this is the issue. ADB debugging just isn't enabled.

go to settings>about and click on the build five time then exit to the home screen then settings again and you will have dev. settings

then enable debugging in the developer options>debugging>usb debugging

How to enable developer options and ADB debugging on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) latest developer preview

Enable developer options

Scroll down and click on Settings.
Scroll down and click on About.
Scroll down a last time to Build Number. Tap on build number repeatedly (should be about 7 times) until a bubble appears saying you’ve unlocked the developer options.

Enable ADB debugging

Return to the Settings menu using the steps above.
Scroll down to the bottom and you’ll see the developer options.
Open developer options and ADB debugging should be the third option. Enable it.

From there you’ll have the developer options and ADB debugging enabled for whatever you may need it for. You’ll also find a number of other options under the developer options that you may find useful eventually.

What sort of builds are people running with the latest update to the ADT-1?

I am still running 13.1 that I got from this thread. If I install 13.2 will it overwrite my settings, or can it be installed to overwrite?

Is anyone else getting a lot of stuttering playback with the ADT-1? I'd call it more of a micro stutter but it's noticeable. Most of what I've tried with it are my blu ray backups without any changes to the audio/video just converted to MKVs so they all have lossless audio and high profile h264/mpeg2/vc-1. I haven't tried too much converted content though that doesn't seem to have the issues as much, but it's still there.

To be fair the only device that plays back these files properly is my old GTV Sony NSZ-GT1 but that doesn't work with the lossless audio just the lossy tracks. At least it gets the video right, but I can only use Plex on that device as it's a first gen GTV box.

I do have a few blu ray documentaries that are 1080i CABAC H264 with 2 channel DTS or LPCM that brings the ADT-1 to its knees. Again only the NSZ-GT1 can play it properly. It's a shame they are my favorites to watch.

Between the stutters, the box's poor deinterlacing on 1080i channels on live tv (via HD Homerun Prime), and the fact google broke the live channels app with their latest update for me this box does nothing but play Netflix, though I haven't even tried that.

Oh, I was running the 12/08 build but updated to the latest build. Connected via gigabit Cat6.
