My LAN speed is 1000 and its more than enough for XBMC 13.1 for Windows 8.1 and XBMC 12.3 - 13.1 for Amlogic 8726-MX (linux).
I play this file just fine with XBMC 13.1 (and all from 12.0) for Windows 8.1 from SMB at 60hz with passtrhough - so this is not my LAN speed and not 60hz...

I test this tests tomorrow. Thank you.

This files (movies) plays just fine with XBMC 13.1 for windows 8.1 60hz and 24hz - so maybe my receiver is OK and there is something else not working right ?

Most likely a driver radeon / alsa problem when handshaking with the avr: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=75064
