Hi,
I have used the search but found nothing to my "question". I've written some addons, which are also in the official repos.
But now I had to realize that in some third party repositories addons exists with the same ID, but not in the official repository.
My question is: What is the correct approach? I mean...I choose an ID I thought is correct and is in fact not used in the official repository. After the "...Pull" I poste the Release in some other forums (e.g xbmcnerds) and not all can use them because some user use a third party repo.
Third party repos are not bad
but what should I do if the addon gets fragmented because of one ID but several of Repos?
Should I expand the ID with my name like a namespace? plugin.video.dmax_de => plugin.video.bromix.dmx_de?
Its seems okay, but somehow also wrong....I don't know.
