I am trying to install 12.3 which is successful but when I try to install other packages from cydia, it is either automatically updating XBMC or if I choose the option to ignore updates, it then chose to remove it completely.

Is there anyway to disable this?

I'm using pangu jailbreak on 7.1.2 on ipad2

Remove the XBMC Cydia repository.
