Hi everybody.
I post this message here, because i have no answer on openelec forum and maybe it is more on vdpau implementation than on openelc itself.
I have some issues with TNT stream (using hdhomerun + tvheadend). (i have ION2 chipset - XS35GT + openelec 4.0.6)
It seems that on an unperfect TNT reception, VDPAU playback doen't deal very well with it.
I have recording a short TNT stream and made several tries :
- playback on openelec + VDPAU acceleration => KO
- playback on openelec + sofware => OK
-playback on PC W7 (NVIDIA) + XBMC + DXVA2 => OK
-playback on nexus 7 with HW acceraltion : OK
So my conclusion is that VDPAU implementation has probleme with imperfect stream such TNT.
Have you ever met this issue / or got solution with some tricks ?
You can download the original stream and what i see with HW acceleration and softwawre + xbmc.log . :
dl.free.fr/ckjOedn9S or mon-partage.fr/f/Sh4RCeQJ/
the stream (source.mkv) has been tested on intel and it's ok.
regards
nunu
