Android Can FireTV + XBMC replace AppleTV 2?

I currently use a jailbroken AppleTV 2 for 2 purposes - streaming media off my NAS device, and watching Netflix. That is it.

Is XBMC for FireTV yet stable enough to replace my AppleTV? They are still going for $150+ on eBay so I could even turn a profit if I switch to FireTV, plus I would have access to more apps.

I don't know if AppleTV2 has stuff like 23.976 playback, but if it does you'll miss that in any android solution.
