7.1 Sony - Channel mapping is not right.
#1
I'm new to mac just got this computer 2nd hand, its a 2010 15 inch laptop running Mavricks.

I just installed xbmc and love it, but I have this problem, the wired thing is when I play 7.1 or 5.1 surround sound movies I get the sounds from the centre speaker coming from my surround left side back speakers..

I just need everyone to know that I just downloaded XBMC so I'm new to the program, and I'm also very new to mac only 10 days using mac, so I have no clue how to fix things but I'm good at fallowing instructions.

Thanks!

1. Setting it up there won't work on gotham 13.1 and older.
2. It should be fixed in gotham 13.2 iirc (once it is released)
3. Workaround with older xbmc versions is to configure the speakerlayout in XBMC to 2.0 and enable passthrough for ac3 and dts
