is it possible to change the opacity of the black overlay over the fanart ? i want it to be more transparent, to showcase the fanart better.

as you can see, i've already made some small changes to my liking, but i can't figure out how to do this one and it's driving me crazy

go into settings for the particular viewtype , select background and there will be option to have type 1 or 2 which indicate the dim or fanart in focus ..

yeah, that is only in the episode viewtype. and by choosing background 2 and editing the episodebgoverlay.png in views folder i got the lighter overlay, which is the one in screenshot 3. but in bannerplex and showcase viewtypes i can't choose between background 1 and 2, 1 is the default, that's why i want help changing it. and i can't find the lines i need to change, heck i don't even know what xml file they are in
