Linux Mirroring to a Samsung Smart TV
#1
Hi all,
I'm a new user of XBMC.
I'm running XBMC 13.1 server in an Ubuntu 14.04 on a Toshiba Sattelite i5 quad core.
I have a Samsung Smart TV on the same home network.
There is anyway of mirroring the laptop screen to the tv the same way as I do with my Samsung tablet via Samsung's AllShare (now Samsung Link)?
The DLNA function dos not have a good performance using wifi network.
Thanks in advance.

Plug the computer's HDMI output into the TVs HDMI input.

I have no idea if this is to a working point yet since I'm waiting for it to be more polished, but this is what you would want to look into.
