Any way to automatically pause / resume playback / screensaver while alt-tabbing away and back again?

Also any way to disable the screensaver while xbmc is not focused?

I'd like to play games while having xbmc running in the background but the screensaver starts and it's annoying

I suppose you could use one of the web controls like AWX to send the commands through your browser. Again it would be a timed command sent via web to tickle the program from going into blanker mode. XBMC is not really designed to be a multi-tasking video player, but more of an all encompassing home theatre software.

If I said NO that would be easy, but with XBMC anything is possible.. use your imagination.

Maybe an AutoHotKey script that would send the XBMC JSON commands when the XBMC window loses focus?
