Linux Corrupted Artwork and Subtitle Issues, XBMC 13.1/Ubuntu 14.04
#1
I am seeing some strange issues with artwork in XBMC 13.1 on an Ubuntu 14.04 system. Some images load fine but others load partially or not at all. This seemingly only happens for TV shows.

My TV shows and movies reside on a NAS Samba share and the Ubuntu system hosts a MySQL database for XBMC library sharing. I also have XBMC on a MacBook and I don't see any artwork issues on it. I've tried clearing the thumbnail cache, using the texture cache maintenance utility, and reinstalling XBMC. So at this point I'm not really sure what to try next.

I'm also having an issue with subtitles. I often download them when using my MacBook and then lose the ability to open those videos on my Ubuntu system. I also cannot download subtitles on the Ubuntu system itself. I understand this is probably a permissions issue, but I've been unable to find any solutions during some searching online.

So please let me know if you have any suggested solutions to the issues I'm having. Thank you!
