Ok so Im new to XBMC and I love it. The only problem is I cant get mkv or avi files to play. They show up in the program but when I click on them, nothing happens. I can play the files with different programs on my computer (mkv player, KMPlayer). Ive searched and really cant find how or even steps to fix this problem. I have way to many to convert and I keep reading that xbmc plays these files. Please help.

You have to give us a little more to go on... other than it doesn't work, a proper debug log (trying to play one of these videos) posted to a past bin and linked back to this thread will tell us your tale of whoa.
