Mysql shared library from W7 not read on Ubuntu
#1
My setup is this:

W7 server with shared folders, 192.168.1.145
Several clients, working well: Raspberry Pi, Windows 7, etc.
When I run Ubuntu 14.04 with XBMC 13.1, the database is properly discovered, but files can not be played.

I look at the log file and see errors saying the directory can not be found. The directory is
smb://192.168.1.145/Video/Movies

When I navigate to that directory in nautilus, I am able to browse to it, however something funny happens...
I type in smb://192.168.1.145/Video/Movies and it automatically corrects to smb://192.168.1.145/video/Movies
The top level directory in the SMB share is changed case.

Could this be the issue? I have no trouble playing the files through Nautilus / VLC, and I don't get prompted with a password (my first suspicion) and directories that have no spaces also fail (my second suspicion)

Any thoughts? Is this an XBMC thing? Ubuntu thing? Why does it work with RaspBMC and not Ubuntu?
