Hi, i am new to xbmc but not to computers. I want to build a htpc with this board http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813135383 under linux. I can do a cheap htpc with that board because i already have all the computer parts except the board and a case. But there is a problem, i heard that sometimes, when acceleration is activated, xbmc freeze or crash with intel drivers on linux.

On linux with 2GB of ram i know i will be ok. But i want to know if with 2gb of ram, it will be ok under windows 7.

2GB should be okay if you have only one program running at a time.
