Help me pls before Pi goes airborne

The above image shows my problem.

For some reason the cover art doesn't show.

I am using the amber skin, but get same with confluence.

I have just rebuilt it with the latest openelec build

And same issue.

The files are all stored on my NAS and attached via nfs.

I previously had xbmc running on a PC using the same NAS and had no issue.

Oddly the cover art does show for one of my shows. Falling sky's, but no other.

Any body got any clues before I launch the pi and go back to my old setup?

The bug affects all platforms, so switching won't help.
You need this patch:
https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/3546

Which unfortunately hasn't been merged into xbmc yet.

You can try a Milhouse test build (which is a Helix/nightly with extra patches rather than Gotham) which does fix this:

Ah.. Thanks very much.

Bit new to all this Linux stuff so driving me crazy.

Also any idea why I can't see movies on my home screen?

I have added the folder and set it to the movies type under videos

So after adding the movie source, you did a scan? Clearly it didn't find anything, which would suggest a problem with NFS permissions, or you've entered an incorrect path. We'll need to see a full debug log (wiki) to be able to diagnose much further.

could this be an issue of a too low GPU memory setting and having the higher artwork quality setting enabled?

A log file will show errors if this is the case.

But I suspect it's this:
http://trac.xbmc.org/ticket/14339

and would be fixed by the PR I linked to.

Yes I did a scan.

All movies found, and all artwork is displayed if you go into the movies section.

Same for the tv shows.

It's just on the home screen it doesn't. Work.

With TV shows, falling skies works fine, but no others.

I can't see any difference on the file system.

Will post up a log when i get a chance.

Thanks
Amit

The issue is season artwork.
I believe it never gets automatically scraped, expect when season is initially.
So if you add a season before season artwork has been added to thetvdb, it will always appear blank.
If when you added it, only season 1 had artwork, but now season 2 episodes appear, they will appear blank.

I think if you go to the tv series and choose refresh artwork, it may fix it (but you have to manually do this for each show).

Or you need to use a build that contains the linked pull request.
