Linux XBMC suddenly started crashing (SIGSEGV)

Hi.

I had a problem with XBMC 13.2 under Ubuntu 14.04 Gnome 64 bits.

really, I updated from 13.10 to 14.04 since i did the upgrade, the xbmc suddenly crash when exactly reach - 00:09 sec to finish any video. before upgrade the OS these did not happen.

Starting XBMC from Debian (12.3 Debian package version:2:12.3+dfsg1-3ubuntu1)

Report it to debian, we do not support those builds

and don't dump crashlogs on a forum. use pastebin.com

@sancasteabro you probably don't know the history. Those guys at debian deliberately build crap by using the wrong libraries. We often told them but they ignore it. This is not XBMC it is crap.

So the easiest thing to do is uninstall XBMC and use the installation instructions from the wiki to install the latest stable from the Official Team XBMC repositories.

Yes.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
