I really like a switch in the airplay panel to just use "only fo audio" settings.
Ususally I don!t want to turn on my projecter but I wanna see movies on my ipad.

I think he wants a switch in the airplay settings to decide if XBMC annouces itsself as video+audio or as audio only. This way if audio only is enabled you can view the video on the idevice but hear the sound through XBMC. Just like it was when ios7 came out :-P

Lol - got it. But this would only be usefull if XBMC(libshairplay) would support audio sync. Else it wouldn't be a good experience in most cases i guess (someone is working on implementing audio sync via libshairplay).
Will think about it a bit. No promises. Very low priority.
