Visualization not random

i have one of the may 06 version of xbmc. in the other versions, when i listen to my music, the visualizations were random which i liked. with the current version, it is not random anymore but sequential, one after another(of the same). can i change the visualization to random? if so, what file do i change and what function am i looking for?
