brix vs nuc fan noise (haswell, i3)

hi guys

looking to buy either a NUC or gigabyte brix i3 model but my primary concern is fan noise. i wont be using the machine for anything intense, only watching internet streams, xbmc, and some internet browsing. the unit will be placed under my TV so i dont want it too instrusive while watching movies etc.

which is generally the quieter of the two ?

my current machine is a emachines 1401 and its virtually silent whenever im doing anything.

The brix I have is rather quiet when running xbmc in steam os. It is however very loud when it gets stressed. I have the i7 brix
