Hi All,

I am running 2 set-ups of XBMC Gotham on 2 different machines using Linux Mint 17. One is 64-bit, and works great!

The other - 32-bit - had started to crash. Basically, it would open up, then shut down. Since then I have purged all traces of XBMC, XBMC Bin, PPAs, Repositories, etc. After many attempts at re-installing XBMC I have still ran into crashes. Again, I've purged everything - including crash logs.

Now, I see that needed Git files can't be installed because one is available, and another is not. I am very confused here, regarding what is going on here.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,

Just as a quick follow-up here, I have installed Frodo via Synaptic. And, once again XBMC crashes. Here is the text. My apogies in advance, as I do have a pastebin file, but can't seem to find where to up-load it here.

Hi All,

This all has become very puzzling. XBMC worked great, but now is experiencing problems.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated. I did install XBMC via Synaptic, but have deleted that. I am open to any, and all, suggestions here regarding a functioning install.

if it doesn't work: downgrade mesa to something stable:

Been there, and done that, on countless Linux Boxes, and everytime I install a freash OS on my machine e.g. XBMC installs.

Thanks for passing your suggestion on to me. There's more to this than meets the eye right now. I've already tried the official ppa install numerous times.

Read Team XBMC PPA (wiki) else this being Debian use XBMC from debian ffmpeg http://people.debian.org/~rbalint/ppa/xbmc-ffmpeg/ else compile XBMC from source. I would urge some patiente if its hard to wait for a reply in a international forum, especially when you having problems then dont expect immediate replies Wink
