Hades, you've maybe forgotten all about this, but here's an update anyway.
I finally got around to getting this patched against HEAD and got a build that I could run. I've sent a pull request (and asked the devs to take a look - http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=220126), so we'll see how that goes.
As well as the 13.1 and 13.2 patches posted above, I've also got 14.1 and HEAD:
