I purchased a MX TV Box dual core cortex-a9 came with android and xbmc, but I would like to install plain ubuntu and then xbmc, is faster, I downloaded the latest image file for ubuntu, but I can't make my TV box boot from USB, I press the reset on the av port and get the restore screen but is only to restore to factory or to update the android.
If anyone knows how to install and image file to the MX TV box or any other way to make it run linux, please help me
