Win Building an XBMC / download box with Intel NUC
#1
Question
I was thinking of building my parents a XBMC box that downloads as well that could be logged into remotely (by me). They are already familiar with Boxee Box so this wouldn't be that big of a jump.

Requires:
Power button on/off (no kb or mouse or "shutdown" unless that can be a macro on the harmony remote)
SABNZBD+ with remote access and download sorting
Store files to a powered USB drive (WD My Book or similar)
Netflix
Works with a Harmony One remote (IR)

I know Netflix requires Windows and therefore Raspberry Pi isn't enough. I was thinking of getting an Intel NUC, and my local store has "DN2820FYKH" available for $168 (plus RAM, HDD, etc)

Quote:Intel® Celeron® Dual Core Processor N2820
1x SO-DIMM slot for memory expandability up to 8 GB
Built-in Intel® Wireless-N 7260BN Chipset:
802.11 b/g/n
Bluetooth v4.0
Intel® Wireless Display
1x Internal 2.5 inch HDD / SDD Drive Bay
1x Front panel USB 3.0 port
Consumer infrared sensor
12V, 36W DC power connector
1x HDMI 1.4a port
1x Gigabit Ethernet LAN
2x USB 2.0 ports
1x Headphone / Microphone Combo jack
Power Button and Power On LED

Is this enough power?
Would I need an internal drive or just install to a live USB?
Is what I'm asking doable?
