Cinema Experience issues
#1
I posted in the Cinema Experience add-on section but there was no reply. My system freezes when I try and load this add-on after I installed Gotham. I have used this add-on successfully for years but just since Gotham I have has issues.

Here are my de-bug reports.

Your debug xbmc.log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=244575
Your debug xbmc.old.log: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=244576
Your XBMC crashlog: http://xbmclogs.com/show.php?id=244577

to re-iterate, this crash happens when I try to run this add-on, no other time. And only until recently has this started to occur, I was using this successfully for years before Gotham install (but might be a co-incidence)

What version of Cinema Experience are you using ?

I had the same problem using version 3.0.10/4.0.10

I now have version 3.0.13/4.0.13 with Gotham 13.1 and it is working fine.

EDIT: after looking at your logs it says you're using version 4.0.10. Get the version 4.0.13 and you'll be back in business.

I concur - version 4.0.13 fixed all of these issues for me.

I wonder why they would put an outdated version in the official XBMC repository? If you download it from within Openelec it'll install 4.0.10, meaning that you have to do some research to get the correct version.

The version on Git is not ready for release as it is untested. That's why 4.0.10 is the one available through the repo. It's not that it's an outdated version.

Thanks for the clarification.

Is there a way to delete the old version of CE? I am running Aeon MQ5 and when I try to delete CE, it says it can't because it is in use by the skin (I can't disable it either..). Not sure how to delete this so I can load the 4.0.13 version of CE.
