I'm stumped today > wanting some help! I want to create a smart playlist based on directory path. XBMC 13.1, Windows 7 Enterprise
My music Library is in D:Audio.
D:Audio/Kids
D:Audio/Kids/Best Dance Songs for Kids Album
D:Audio/Kids/Best Fun Album Ever
D:Audio/Parents
D:Audio/Parents/Rock & Roll Tuesday Album
...
I've added D:Audio as a music 'source', and scanned this source into the library. Finally, I want to create a smart playlist based on albums (folders) within the D:Audio/Kids path. Heading over to add a smart playlist, I select the type as Albums, and under 'new rule...' I thumb thru the options, but 'Path' isn't listed. I only see options like Artist, Album, Type, etc.
But, I notice if I go back and change the type from Albums to Songs in the new playlist config wizzard, then 'Path' becomes an option under 'new rule...'. Of coarse I want the albums to show up in the playlist, not a list of all the songs in all the albums under D:Audio/Kids.
This has always worked well for me in Frodo, so I'm not sure where I've gone wrong.
Thanks a bunch if someone can point me in the right direction. --Bri
