you probably have to ask the RaspBMC guys what that browser is all about - or maybe someone in here knows - it's at least nothing from XBMC itself.

about your Debug Log: I'm no dev, but I haven't seen anything suspicious, besides of the timeouts Martijn mentioned. Do you by occasion have any proxy settings applied (unforutnately can't see this in the debug log)? Also, does system->info show the correct IP address etc in XBMC?

No I don't have a proxy set.

I just wanted to mention it in case it prompts someone with an "A-HA!" moment.

Yeah, the timeouts are somewhat annoying for me.
Even when I am trying to connect even to my local PC.

(The Pi is off now) But I am sure it has the correct IP addresses.

Now that mirrors seem to be back working, can you install addons?

Interesting.

I think before it just came up quickly as "blank".

Now it is "working".

Ah, but still blank.

Maybe the instant blank was because it wasn't just booted.

Now subsequent clicking on the addon button yields a quick blank list.

you to do force refresh. opening addons doesn't refetch the list
