My brother gave me his old (disconnected) phone to see if I could get XBMC running on it. I downloaded the appropriate .apk file but the phone is not allowing me to install them. The phone just gives me the error ""Parse error: There is a problem parsing the package". I have already checked the option to allow installation if sources from non-market applications, but that didn't seem to make a difference. Any ideas?

Try redownloading the 13.1 APK from xbmc.org
Might also change the name to xbmc.apk as well and see if that helps as well as moving it to different areas of the device to try and install it. Install ES FIle Explorer from the play store if you need to.

If the phone is not running android 4.0+, it will not work.
