There is an Advanced library filtering from version Frodo 12.

I use version 13 Gotham, but THERE IS ONLY the simple filtering window, where only ask to ENTER A VALUE.

Nowhere i can find the Advanced library filtering as screenshots shown at

Can you please help to find it?

What skin are you using and version of XBMC, perhaps a proper debug-log will answer some questions?

Gotham 13.1, Default skin ,

I don't seem to have an issue, so the best suggestion I could offer is to update to 13.2 perhaps there is some hardware conflict or your install missed some code.
