Hi,

Could someone confirm is the clean library option for music removes defunct genres? I'm going through my music genres an correcting any icorrect genres then, I've rescanned the library but the now empty genres still exist?

If clean library dos not remove defunct music genres then is there a process to do so?

I don't need to do a separate "clean" in XBMC 13.2b2. Just doing an update gets rid of orphan genres. This is with default SQLite database in userdata. MySQL may work differently.

Hi Scott, thanks for the info. I'm not on 13.2 so perhaps when that is released it will correct this as I have no gone through all my music genres and corrected accordingly but now have several orphan / empty genres in the list after both library update and a clean.
