Read on howto overwrite the GL_VERSION ... your old hardware is the problem.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Got it fixed. Installed XBMA on my other computer and checked what i where i have to click, move with arrows and just hit enter at.
The reso was automatically set to 2048x1536...

Soo yeah, a mod can close it.
