No audio Settings 13.1?
#1
Just upgraded to the latest version 13.1, and now I have no surround sound (DTS or HD) and no audio options to change.

Before the upgrade it sent everything via SPDIF to the receiver and worked great. Just noticed that it is only playing 2 channel audio for all files.

I have updated all the drives via windows, and checked the settings on the receiver. I have switched between Directsound &WASAPI. I have even tried switching to HDMI audio, and nothing seems to work.

In the Systems>Audio menu, I have no options to change.
Options are -
Audio Output Device
Keep Audio Device Alive
Play GUI Sounds
Reset Above Settings to Default.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Switch your skin to confluence. Go into settings and change the standard setting (at the bottom) to expert. You will then be able to see the rest of the audio options. Then follow the advice from jjd-uk in this thread http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=200639

Thank you for the response. That is just what I was looking for. Switched it to expert mode, and all my settings returned. Works like a charm again.

Thank you again.
