yes i noticed that. When I initially added the share back, i used '\\server\' - and i saw the lowercase in the logs. However, when I re-added the share, I made sure that it was capitalised - which is weird that the log still shows it lowercase. Where does swmc read this from? Perhaps I can manually change it to uppercase in the registry or something?

Besides, I've never had an issue looking at smb shares regardless of capitalisation before

How this happened I can't say either, but I am sure that's whats going on.

In regedit go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Service\Recording

then WatchedFolders

That fixed it! OK now I'll see if re-adding the folder fixed the recordings disappearing...

Good. I put the fix in the upcoming release, so this won't be an issue in the future.

I think I'll also try using MCEBuddy to move my recordings as per shthomas' solution - perhaps it has some sort of 'refresh' feature once it's moved the recordings...
