My First NUC, maybe
#1
I'm looking at the prospect of running XBMC on top of Linux Mint. When I started looking at smaller machines suitable for my living room, I discovered NUCs. I've never even seen, let alone used a NUC before, but I am intrigued. What do you do about mouse/keyboard input on one of them? Do I need a usb hub to get more USB slots? Does a NUC funtion pretty much like a PC?

Thanks!

Until intel allows keyboard languages outside of the finno-ungric language group, I would hold off on the NUC.

Nucs are PCs.

He's probably talking about the UEFI... still not making much sense though. You can use whatever kb you want once the OS boots up. Weird comment.

Yeah. English is outside the Finno-Ugric language group... (Widely considered to be mainly made up of Finnish, Hungarian, Estonian - though this isn't always deemed a conclusive definition)
