I'm using the Universal Movie Scraper set to use only IMDB. There are some movies it doesn't catch, not because they're not in IMDB but because IMDB's search is a little wonky. So I thought I'd create an NFO file according to the instructions in the Wiki. However, if I create the NFO file with the URL to the movie in IMDB or if I export the NFO file, edit it with the relevant information, it never seems to get read in and used instead of using the scraper. Do I need to do something specific?

FWIW, I'm using ISO images of the DVDs and the NFO file has the same name as the ISO image.

Are you using this tag in .nfo?

Which movies are you having difficulty in scraping, also file and folder structure used.

I use Media Companion to create my .nfo files....works great and it is customizable right in teh program before you actually create the .nfo
