No heatsinks on mine and I can't get even close to the 85C limit !! Remote I got was http://www.amazon.co.uk/New-IT-Remote-Me...=pi+remote

Got it all off Amazon, because we have a prime account so delivery is always free !!

The whole bundle I bought is now £53 grrrrrr

OpenELEC if you just want it appliance like. Remote needed a few buttons re-mapping, but that's easy.

No I dont use heatsinks for mine. If you got the B+ then you'll easily hit 1.1ghz

Yeah, I could've got it cheaper off Amazon too, but it wouldn't have been free guaranteed next day delivery and once I have decided to buy something, I tend to want it immediately!!

Was gonna just do the GPIO receiver and use an old remote but couldn't find any laying around at the time. Found three this morning that would have done Confused

I use a GPIO reciever with that remote (even though it has its own) you get the extra numlock, key 3 and the two on top. PLus you can map the mouse circle thing to anything you want also. Spent ALONG time doing my keymap but now its amazing.

I am shocked amazon sells that remote black_eagle. Shocked because I thought they have low margins. they are making atleast 100% profit on that remote.
