Multiple Partitions - Where is disk buffer?
#1
Hi All,

Noob here, cant find the answer to this question so here I am looking for some help.....

I have a Pi B running Openelec/xbmc and I am using it mainly for internet streaming. On the 64GB SD card I have 2 partitions system & storage, system is about 1.2gb while storage is about 58gb. I am looking to improve buffering performance and I understand that I can create/edit the advancedsettings.xml file to force buffering to disk....

My question is....

On what partition will the disk buffering occur? If on system I should consider creating a larger system partition.

Many thanks for your support in advance.

Regards

I am pretty sure it is in /storage/.xbmc/temp.

Thank you

So we think it is on the storage drive, that's fine since that's where all the space is.
